WOW! Fancy Fold Card

Here is a the WOW! Fancy Fold Card ( or panorama card. Thank you to the group that suggested that, it dose sound better than my name) I created for the Late Night Stampers event that I presented at on Saturday night. I had so much fun and meet some fabulous ladies.

Now for the 2nd day of convention (Thursday). We enjoyed a wonderful day of presentations and we got to see our very own Heather Summers up on the stage. She did a fabulous job as always!

Thursday evening was awards night. We again got to see Heather up on stage as she was awarded the #1 Demonstrator in sales for Canada
as well as #2 Demonstrator of the year!!! Way to go Heather. Your Simply Stars are so proud of you. You deserve every bit of recognition.

I was also fortunate enough to walk across stage to receive my Artisan Award along with my friend Jodie Olver and the other 8 winners. We have all been getting to know
each other and we have a wonderful group this year. All of the ladies received a beautiful Bracelet and Richard received a very nice watch. I am so pleased to see a man win this award. I also want to recongnize my friend Anne Granger as she also walked across stage for earning Cruse this year. Way to go Anne!

Baby Card and Convention Share

Thank you for stopping by today. I am working on some fun projects that I will be offering in an up coming class all on folding. I am so excited to share with you. Please check back as I will be posting the sign up in the next few days.

I hope to share a new project as well as some of my highlights from Convention over the next week. Then starting August 2 all of the Artisan Winners will be doing a Blog Hop to share all of our hard work with you and we can't wait!
So here is today's creation. I created this card and box for my sweet friend Martha who is also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Congratulations to Martha & Travis as they welcomed baby Greyson on July 23.

I did a lot of embossing and layering on this card for that extra wow! I will do a tutorial on how I cut the inside if he box if you are interested in how I did that.

We decided that this year we would take the trip to Stampin' Up! Home office. It was absolutely beautiful!!! Here is a picture of Lindsay in her new stamp room. (well it is her dream stamping room) Isn't she just the cutest? If you have ever met her you know what I am saying.
Wednesday night we went to the convention center for the flower power party. We had a fabulous time playing games and looking at all of the fun costumes! Jody did an amazing job at the cup game. You had to take the top cup an place it on the bottom alternating hands until the red cup was on the top.
Much harder than it sounds. We also got our picture with Shelli and Stirling. I hope you enjoyed today's post and will check back for more.

Fun Mail!

I am excited to share today’s card with you. I love to get cards in the mail and this is one of the most memorable. This is the invitation I received form Stampin’ Up! to dinner with Shelli Gardner - Co-founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up! as well as Brent Steele – Vice President of Creative Services. This is part of winning the Artisan Award. I can’t wait. This dinner is what I am most looking forward to during Convention. I spoke with Shelli briefly at Convention last year and she is so kind and gracious. I will be sure to tell you all about it.

Shoe Box Swap

I am sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I have been working hard to get ready for convention and house shopping (which is a full time job itself). I am in some organized swaps and it always takes more time than you think. I love to swap and Convention is defiantly the place for that.
