Hidden Bookmark Card & Video!

Here is a bookmark card I created for a shoe box swap I did with the Simply Stars ladies and my first ever video! Hope you like it.

This card is super easy and fun. It is a little gift itself. I have posed a video of how to make it. I would love to have your feedback on the video. I hope to be doing this more often. Is there something you would like to see? I have also put a link for you to add your creations. I look forward to seeing you take on this card. Have a wonderful day!

In with the old

So as most of you know Stampin' Up! is doing a color renovation and while this might be scary for some of you I promise that you will be thrilled when you see all of the new colors that will be available to you. I know I am happy to see some of my favorite in colors coming back. Here is a card I made using Baja Breeze and Riding hood Red. This combo looks so beautiful together. Did you notice how I used the rhinestones from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit for the body of the butterfly? These are so fun! I am hoping to see some of these in the new catalog! What would you like to see? Remember to check back tomorrow for my first ever video.

Enjoy your day!

Simply Sunday Sketch #10

Here is my take on the Simply Sunday Sketch. I kept this one very simple. I like it but I think it still needs something. I originally had this standing with the saying sideways and when I took the picture I realized that it looked nice lengthwise as well. I really like this stamp set (Define your Life) it has some really great definitions in it. I love this color combo Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Yum! I am so happy that Rich Razzleberry will be added to our new colors! It just works with so many other colors. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope to have my first ever video up for you at some point next week if I can get my act together. Take care and enjoy your weekend!

Cambridge & District Humane Society Fundraiser

This fundraiser is one close to my heart. Two years ago this August we said goodbye to our beautiful bulldog Hyla. I miss her so much! There is nothing like the unconditional love of a pet. Our family is so busy with two girls under two we are not in the position to adopt another pet at this time but I still would like to make a difference.

Vintage Vogue Bookmark

Isn’t this bookmark just beautiful!!! My good friend Annie P gave it to me. She is such a sweet and fun person. We barely knew each other when we went to convention last year. To which I want to add she lent me her bag on wheels. I think she felt so sorry for me being big and pregnant and trying to carry all of my stuff around. I will be forever thankful. We have grown to be great friends. I am looking forward to another fun and memory filled convention this year with a whole new group of ladies.

Thank you Annie P for the beautiful Bookmark! You are so Kind.

Missed Simply Sunday Sketch

I’m not sure how but I missed posting this Simply Sunday Sketch. I like the color combo on this one. More Mustard, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant. I used one of the sale-a-bration Stamp Sets and the Scallop Trim Border Punch (that will be in the new catalog!)

I’m going to keep things short and sweet today. I am working on some classes for you and a fundraiser for the Cambridge Humane Society that I will post Friday. Take care.

Mojo Monday 135

Happy Monday!

Here is my Mojo Monday Card. I am happy with the end result of this card. I was unsure where to start with this sketch. So I made the star like shape first. I used the top note die cutting out the whole shape first then laying it lengthwise along the short side of the die and VOLA! This is what you get. Isn’t it fun? I am thinking that this will be a nice wedding or anniversary card.

Thank you for stopping in today and have a wonderful week!

Supply list; Old Olive and Very Vanilla Cardstock, Old Olive Designer Series Paper, Big Shot, Top Note Die, Final Press Textured impressions Embossing Folder, Designer Label Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Library Clip, 5/16” Neutrals Jumbo Brads, 1/4” Old Olive and Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, 5/8” Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon

Simply Sunday Sketch

First I want to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mum-in-law! She is the kindest person I know. I hope you are enjoying your day with a good book and a big bag of candy! Lilly and Ella send you a great big hug and Kiss! We love you!

Can you believe the embellishments on this card? I love it! So much I don’t know if I can part with this card. In addition to the sketch Heather also gave us a color challenge. Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise and Only Orange ( I didn’t have Only Orange so I used Pumpkin Pie) I am trying hard to not hoard my embellishments. Now I have to work on not hording my cards! LOL!!!

Thank you for visiting me today. Enjoy your day!

My Digital Studio Card

I was a little skeptical when I herd about My Digital Studio at Convention last year. I have been playing with it a bit and I have to say that I am liking it. It is supper easy to use. I was very impressed when I received my order. The colors are amazing and clear. This was a test run I did to see what it actually looked like in a hard copy.

What do you think???

Simply Sunday Sketch

Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I have to say I am happy to be stamping for fun again. Artisan was a little stressful. I have never tied and untied so many bows in my life. I just wanted everything to be as perfect as could be.

Here is Heather Summers simply sunday sketch. I love this weeks sketch and would love for you to play along. I had this flower already stamped sitting on my desk just waiting to be added to a creation. I was practicing my water coloring. I am still learning but I like how this one turned out. I wanted to keep it simple and elegant. Hope you like it.

Big News

So I want to make a big apology to all my faithful readers. I had wonderful intentions to show you some of the fabulous swaps I received at Convention. However I spent every extra moment I had working on my Artisan projects. I am extremely proud of my creations and wish I could share them with you. I have taken this week off from stamping but will be back Sunday.

Now for the BIG NEWS!

Stampin' Up! Has announced that they are doing a colour renovation. I know I was a little shocked at first too but I think it is wonderful! Stampin' Up! did not make this decision lightly. I am so excited to see some of our favorite in colours coming back with an addition of 5 new never sean before colours. When I looked at the colours that are leaving us I realised that I rarely used most of them. In addition we will get 5 new In Colours in July when the new catalog comes out. Here is a look at our new colours
